Mental Health Week

February 2023

School council started the week by delivering two assemblies raising awareness about children's mental health. Throughout the week, children explored activities about feelings and mood, including mindfulness colouring, creating crafts, ways to regulate breathing when anxious, dancing, exercising and games about friendships. At the end of the week, School Council helped to organise 'Dress to Express' Day where children had fun dressing in colours to express how they were feeling or who they are inside. We also raised money for Place2Be - a children's mental health charity.
