Year 6 - Fun Days!
On Wednesday, we worked in teams to design and build our own bridges. Our goal was to create the strongest structure possible and make sure that a toy car could travel safely across it without collapsing.
Before we started building, we carefully discussed our ideas as a group. We thought about which materials would be the most effective and how we could use them to make our bridge sturdy. We also considered the shape and design, knowing that a strong construction would help support more weight.
Once we began, we worked together to test different approaches, making adjustments as needed. It was exciting to see our ideas come to life and to watch the car successfully travel across our bridge. This activity helped us understand the importance of teamwork, planning, and problem-solving.

On Thursday, we went bowling and had a fantastic time together. Everyone enjoyed taking turns and cheering each other on as we aimed for strikes and spares.
After our games, we sat down to enjoy a delicious meal. We also headed into the arcades where we played a variety of fun games and collected tickets.
A big congratulations to Mrs Dutton-Hall, Ryan, and Cason, who made it onto the Hollywood Bowl leaderboard—what an amazing achievement! Overall, it was a fun-filled day that everyone thoroughly enjoyed.
