Elston Athletics Breaks Points Record!
Well done to our Athletics team who won finished 1st place out of 5 schools at their hub event last night. Elston got an amazing 1750 points which is a record amount of points ever for that hub event. We are so proud of them, they now go on to represent us at the Athletics finals! Well done everyone 💚


Tag Rugby Club
The children really enjoyed playing a lively game of tag-rugby this week! Through this activity, they are developing a range of important skills. Physically, they’re improving their coordination, agility, and reaction times. Socially, they’re learning teamwork, communication, and good sportsmanship. Cognitively, they’re building focus, quick thinking, and strategic decision-making. It’s wonderful to see everyone having fun while learning and staying active!


Dodgeball Competition
Seven of our Year 6 children participated in a dodgeball competition at St Chads. The children played 8 games in their group against Christ Church, St Mary's, Bilston and Whitgreave, with 6 wins, 1 loss and 1 draw. The children topped their group to progress to the quarter finals where they unfortunately lost in a competitive game against Wodensfield. Well Done to Our Cheerleaders!
A big congratulations to our amazing cheerleaders who represented Elston at the City Diversity Celebration at the Halls in Wolverhampton! They performed in front of a large audience alongside many other schools—and stood out as the only cheerleaders at the event. The Elston All Stars thrilled the audience with an energetic mash-up of music, showcasing their talent, team spirit, and dedication. We couldn’t be prouder of their outstanding performance!


Elston Girls Shine at Wolves Training Ground and meet Matt Doherty!
We are so proud of our girls football team who competed at the Wolves training ground against 14 different schools across the city. The girls were excellent throughout the tournament playing 7 games, winning 5 and drawing 2. The girls made it all the way to the final without conceding a single goal where they met Perry Hall. Team Spirit and Super Shots!
Elston Hall proudly participated in the latest Netball Hub event, joining 10 other schools at St Chads. The squad played 5 competitive games against St Mary's, St Stephens, Long Knowle, Trinity and Oak Meadow. Overall there were 3 narrow defeats and 2 wins - the best being a 6-0 victory with some super shooting from Freya! Sports Ambassadors Talk with Mr. Green and the Team
Last week’s match was one to remember — full of energy, teamwork, and determination. Our sports ambassadors sat down with Mr Green and a couple of team members to get their thoughts on the game. Girls’ Team Triumphs 3–0 Against St Anthony’s!
Wednesday 15th October The girls team were victorious again against St Anthony's in a very competitive match played on Bee Lane. The girls were winning 2-0 at half time with goals from Jessica and Danielle. Another goal from Danielle in the second half secured a 3-0 win. The girls again showed great team work and  determination. Well done!


Elston Hall Joins Baseball Festival
Wednesday 15th October 10 children from Year 5 were invited to participate in a Baseball Festival at WV Active. The children were given the opportunity to try a new sport by participating in some fun activities helping develop their understanding of a new sport. The children then played a game of Baseball against West Park Primary School, putting their skills into practice. The children had a great time, learning new things and being really actively involved. This was Elston
