Through this exciting activity, children are developing a range of important skills. Physically, they’re improving their coordination, agility, and reaction times. Socially, they’re learning teamwork, communication, and good sportsmanship. Cognitively, they’re building focus, quick thinking, and strategic decision-making. It’s wonderful to see everyone having fun while learning and staying active!

Wild Tribe KS2

Art Club
Children learnt about Claude Monet and his innovative approach to capturing light and colour. The children painted in the style of Claude Monet, focusing on outdoor images using watercolours. I'm sure you'll agree, they did a very good job!

Cheerleading

The girls in year 5 and 6 have been taking part in a cheerleading club lead by the Big Sister Project. The programme helps girls aged 9-15 to feel ‘sport ready’ by recruiting a network of ‘Big Sisters’ – peer leaders and supporters from sport, school and community organisations. The children have been lucky enough to work with Jazzi and Michelle Ratcliffe from Places Leisure Wolverhampton.

October 2024
Well done to all our children in Drawing Club who had their wonderful drawings published!
Look at our published drawings!

Year 1 Craft Club
Children love getting crafty! We have made bird houses, paper plate lions and even used nature to create hedgehogs!

Gymnastics
Gymnastics club is really looking good at the moment and we are making super progress.
We have been busy refining our skills and working on set routines for different stages. Here we are demonstrating a pike, a tuck and a rock forward and backwards in a tuck.
Now we're practising keeping our body tension, pointing our toes and our control in our performance.

Wild Tribe KS2
Children in KS2 Wild Tribe Club have been busy making bird feeders, planting bulbs, making wands and spider webs!

Netball

At netball club we have been working on our understanding of the game and working as part of a team. We have had to develop our knowledge of the netball positions and where we can stand on the court alongside learning the rules of netball. The children have worked well to develop their footwork and making interceptions in this term.
