Fun and Games!
At Fun and Games Club, the children had a fantastic time making boats using coloured A4 paper. They carefully designed and decorated their boats before putting them to the test in exciting races across the tables! The children competed to see whose boat could travel the fastest by blowing them across the table. There was lots of laughter, teamwork, and creativity throughout the activity, and everyone had so much fun taking part.


Science Club
This week, we looked at water density and managed to 'layer' the colours of water using different amounts of salt in each colour of water. Last week, we looked at surface tension by dropping water droplets onto different sized coins to see how many we could reach before they spilled.


Computer Club
Our children have been having a fantastic time in Computer Club using Studio.code.org to explore the world of coding. Through fun, interactive activities, the children have been learning the basics of coding while developing problem-solving, creativity, and teamwork skills.


Science Club
The children discussed what would happen if we put hot water onto a plate of skittles and they thought that the sugar coating would dissolve, leaving the trail of colour. We went outside to understand why the skittles would make a rainbow path and the children learnt that it was because the sugar wanted to diffuse to an area with less sugar, which meant that it would travel in a straight path towards the middle of the plate.
