Year 1 had a fantastic day building on their learning about Mary Anning. Children became paleontologists for the day, and they enjoyed gently uncovering fossils just like Mary Anning did. Children were able to use different sources of information to match the fossil to the dinosaur. We found skulls, teeth and shells!Â
Children created their own Plesiosaur skeleton and made their own fossils whilst recognising the amazing achievements of Mary Anning.Â
Well done Year 1. You amazed us with your knowledge of dinosaurs and fossils!
