The children became real-life palaeontologists as they explored and investigated, carefully digging and brushing to uncover hidden fossils. Our Early Years Inspiration Day kicked off with a thrilling journey back in time to the world of dinosaurs ready for this terms topic 'Jurrassic Park'. Our Reception children stepped into a world of festive wonder at Statfold Barn Railway. They visited Mrs Claus’ bakery, where they decorated gingerbread with care and creativity. Laughter and giggles filled the air as the children enjoyed the old-fashioned fairground rides, even getting caught in the snow! Year 3 had an unforgettable day at Tanglewood as they stepped back in time to deepen their learning about the Stone Age. The children began by grouping themselves into tribes, each choosing a unique tribe name and decorating their cheeks with matching colours—just like real Stone Age hunters!
