Year 6 Visit Blists Hill
Year 6 had a fantastic time at Blist's Hill Living Museum, as part of their Geography and History learning. We were transported back in time to the Victoria era, and used our skills and understanding to compare and contrast life in that time and explore the history of the buildings and local landscape. We visited Victorian shops and businesses, discussed the impact of industrialisation and used our questioning skills to find out more. Year 4 Shine in Drama Workshop!
Year 4 were lucky enough to take part in an exciting drama workshop! During the session, the children participated in a variety of exercises designed to boost their confidence and help them speak confidently in front of an audience. It was wonderful to see the pupils engaging, collaborating, and having fun while developing important performance skills. Their enthusiasm and creativity really shone through!

Year 2’s Exciting Author Visit from Natalie Pritchard!
Year 2 thoroughly enjoyed their visit from the author Natalie Pritchard. She shared one of her stories 'Sully the Seahorse' with us and explained how to become an author. Children thoroughly enjoyed asking Natalie questions about her books and the life of an author. They also shared some of their writing with Natalie, who was very impressed!

World Nursery Rhyme Week 2025
Early Years have had SO much fun celebrating World Nursery Rhyme Week! We joined together as a Trust to sing our favourite nursery rhymes to each other via TEAMs — it was wonderful to see everyone joining in with such enthusiasm. The children looked absolutely fantastic in their costumes and loved every moment of their special day! Even the teachers got involved, dressing up as their favourite nursery rhyme characters.

Year 4 ‘Lit-Up Their Learning’ with an Electrifying Lego Workshop!
Year 4 'lit-up their learning' this week, with our fabulous Lego Electricity workshop. With our visitor, Stephen, we discussed settlements and which Human and Physical features we would find in them. Using our Geography sticky knowledge, we then we created our own town buildings, using our creative skills. Working collaboratively, we then used roads to connect up our buildings to make our city! We added physical features like water, green spaces and plants and human features
