Children were able to draw on their knowledge of space from their Science lessons and then use the VR experience to further embed their understanding.

Year 6
Children created a model of the human heart using a cup, a glove and straws. By squeezing the glove, they demonstrated how the heart contracts to pump blood around the body.

Children made their own model blood using orange juice for plasma, Cheerios and red food colouring for red blood cells, mini marshmallows for white blood cells and sprinkles for platelets.
Children dissected sheep hearts! They dissected the hearts and identified the different components, taking particular care not to damage the valves or the aorta!
