Our Year 6 pupils had a fantastic opportunity to visit Aldersley High School for an exciting science lesson. During the session, they became real scientists—testing the pH levels of different substances, including lemon juice, washing-up liquid, and more!
The children were fascinated to see how some substances were acidic while others were alkaline, and they enjoyed using indicator paper to see the colour changes. It was a hands-on experience that brought their classroom learning to life and gave them a taste of what science lessons will be like in secondary school.
