Year 5 brought all their learning from their Mission Control topic to life with an exciting trip to the National Space Centre in Leicester.
During the visit, they explored the fascinating exhibits, discovering a wealth of facts about space and science. A highlight was the impressive Rocket Tower, where they saw real-life examples of space technology up close.
The trip also included a spectacular planetarium show, where the children journeyed through our solar system and learned all about the planets in an immersive and unforgettable way.
They also enjoyed an explosive live show all about the history of rockets — from the early firework-style rockets of ancient times to the powerful launch systems used today.
It was a day full of awe, excitement, and inspiration. Everyone had a fantastic time!
