An Incredible Year of Sporting Success at Elston Hall!

Everybody at Elston Hall is incredibly proud of our amazing children, who brought home medals and trophies from five different competitions last night!

🏆 Elston Hall were crowned city champions in:

• Blakemore Cup – 7-a-side City Tournament

• Girls’ Cricket

• Year 3 & 4 Cricket

• Girls’ Cross Country

• Girls’  Football City League Winners

Although these achievements weren’t mentioned during the presentation on the night, we’d also like to celebrate some more fantastic sporting successes from this year:

• Year 3 & 4 Tennis – City Champions

• Year 1 & 2 Multiskills – City Champions and Black Country Games Champions

• Athletics – City Champions and Black Country Games Bronze Medallists

• Gymnastics – Winners of multiple Bronze and Silver medals across a range of events

A huge congratulations also goes to Alba, who was nominated for the city-wide Sportsmanship Award. We are so proud of you!

At Elston Hall, we are passionate about providing as many sporting opportunities as possible for our children. This year alone, our school has represented at 61 different sporting events outside of school, with 157 children taking part. Throughout the year, many more children have also enjoyed participating in sporting events within school, including Sports Days and our Festive Runs and many more who came to our extra curricular clubs. 

We are incredibly proud to offer such a wide range of opportunities, helping our children develop confidence, teamwork, resilience and a love of sport.

Finally, a special thank you to Miss Willis, Mr Green and Mr Turner for their dedication, enthusiasm and hard work throughout the year. Your commitment has made these fantastic achievements possible.
