What a Team! Elston Takes 2nd Place!
What an amazing evening watching our 14 fantastic cross country runners take on the course at Aldersley Leisure Village! šāāļøšāāļøš
A huge congratulationsĀ to Elston, who finished an incredible 2nd place across the city ā what a fantastic achievement! š
Even more exciting was seeing so many of our runners take part in their first ever cross country event. It was brilliant to watch our more experienced runners supporting, encouraging and even running alongside our new runners. Thatās what being part of a team is all about! š
And, of course, a massive thank you to our amazing parents! Your encouragement, support and enthusiasm make such a difference. From getting the children ready and cheering them on from the sidelines, to celebrating every finish and encouraging them to keep going, you help make these experiences so special for our young runners. We couldnāt do it without you! š
A very special thank you also goes to Alba, Erin, Penny and Pippa four of our previous Year 6 students, who came back this evening to help, support and encourage our runners. It was so lovely to see you both giving up your time to support the younger children and show that once youāre part of our team, youāre always part of our team! What fantastic role models you are. š
A special shoutout to Luca, Oliver, George, Arabella, Daisy, Finley, Bobbie and Amber, who all ran their first ever cross country races and absolutely smashed it! šš„
We canāt wait to watch you all grow in confidence, progress throughout the year and see just how far you can go!
What a team! šŖšāāļøšāāļøš
