Bringing the Romans to Life!

A Stone Age Adventure for Year 3
Year 3 had an unforgettable day at Tanglewood as they stepped back in time to deepen their learning about the Stone Age. The children began by grouping themselves into tribes, each choosing a unique tribe name and decorating their cheeks with matching colours—just like real Stone Age hunters! Year 6 Visit Blists Hill
Year 6 had a fantastic time at Blist's Hill Living Museum, as part of their Geography and History learning. We were transported back in time to the Victoria era, and used our skills and understanding to compare and contrast life in that time and explore the history of the buildings and local landscape. 'How to Draw' Club Remember!
This week in Drawing Club, the children took part in a special Remembrance Day activity. They followed step-by-step instructions to draw a soldier and a poppy, learning how simple shapes can come together to create a meaningful picture. The children showed great focus and care as they drew, using their artwork to reflect on the importance of remembering those who have served.
