Wellbeing Ambassadors to Health Champions!
Our Year 4/ and Year 5 Wellbeing Ambassadors worked with Grace from the Wolves Foundation as part of the 'Health Champions' programme. The children discussed people who are already health champions such as David Attenborough and the Dutchess of Cambridge. The children then worked on their own project, planning an assembly that they will deliver in school on a topic they think was important for Elston Hall. Getting Secondary School Ready
Year 6 were visited today by our local PCSO, who spoke to them about staying safe and looking after their belongings as they prepare for the transition to secondary school. The session provided valuable advice and practical tips to help pupils feel confident and secure in their new environment.

PCSO Visits Year 6
Year 6 pupils took part in an informative talk led by our local PCSO, focusing on antisocial behaviour and knife crime. The session was delivered in an age-appropriate way and helped pupils understand how their choices and actions can affect themselves and others. Red Nose Day 2026
Children came to school in their own clothes for Red Nose Day, making donations to support this worthwhile cause, and many proudly wore red noses! They also took part in a range of fun Red Nose Day activities throughout the day.


Fire Safety in Year 4
Fire officers visited our Year 4 class to deliver the SPARKS programme. During the session, the children learned about the common causes of fires and discussed practical ways to prevent them in everyday situations. They were encouraged to think carefully about fire safety at home and in school, including the importance of recognising potential hazards. Reflexions Visit Year 6
The Reflexions Team visited our Year 6 children to help them prepare for their upcoming SATs. The session focussed on supporting pupils with any worries or anxieties they may be feeling. The team shared helpful advice and simple strategies to manage nerves, build confidence and reduce feelings of anxiety. Safer Internet Day is the largest global online safety campaign. Dress to Express!
Childrenโs Mental Health Week is a valuable opportunity to reflect on how we care for our mental and emotional wellbeing. Throughout the week, the children have taken part in activities focused on wellbeing, self-expression, and recognising what helps them feel calm, confident, and supported.
