A Special Visit from PCSO Trudi Brittle

Our nursery children had a very exciting visitor, PCSO Trudi Brittle came to talk to them all about her important job in keeping our community safe. Trudi explained what a PCSO and police officers do and introduced the children to some of the uniform and equipment she uses every day. The children loved getting the chance to try on some of the gear!

Trudi also talked about ‘Safer Strangers’, who they are and why it’s important to know people we can turn to for help. The children learned about how police officers help keep everyone safe and why it’s good to know how to stay safe too.

It was a fun and informative visit that helped the children feel confident about who can help them in their community.
