Bringing the Romans to Life!

As part of our new topic, You’re Not Invited, Year 5 brought the past to life with an exciting historical workshop led by Humph’s Histories. The children learned some Latin phrases, explored where key Roman events fit within British history, and investigated a range of weapons, armour and other historical sources. They also created their own Roman shields and recreated battle formations, giving them a real insight into life in the Roman army.
