Elston Girls Impress at Football Festival

Many of our Year 3 and Year 4 pupils recently attended a football festival at Aldersley Leisure Village. Elston entered two teams, both of whom demonstrated excellent teamwork and commitment throughout the event.

Team 1, led by Mr Turner, recorded two wins, one draw, and two losses, showcasing strong collaboration and determination in every match. Team 2, led by Mr Green, achieved an impressive five wins out of six games.

It was particularly encouraging to see so many girls proudly representing Elston and enjoying their football. We are incredibly proud of the skills, teamwork, and enthusiasm displayed by all participants. Well done, girls—future footballers in the making!
