Year 5 and Year 6 had a visit from the local PCSO, Trudi Brittain. She talked about the age of 'criminal responsibility' (which is 10) and explained that sometimes even though you might not actually be doing anything wrong, you may still get arrested if the people you are with start doing something they shouldn't. If you stay with them, you can also be punished - it's called 'joint enterprise'. Trudi stressed the importance of choosing our friends carefully for this very reason!
We discussed the impact online unpleasantness has, and that it is just as hurtful sending messages as it is being nasty to a persons face.
