Our local Police Community Support Officer (PCSO) visited Key Stage 1 to talk to the children about stranger danger and the importance of recognising safer strangers.
During the session, the children listened carefully and took part in discussions about different everyday scenarios. Together, they explored what to do if they ever feel worried or unsure, and who they can go to for help. The PCSO explained that not all strangers are unsafe and helped the children identify safer strangers.
The children were encouraged to think about:
How to stay safe when out and about
What to do if they get lost
Who they can trust to help them
We would like to thank our local PCSO for taking the time to visit and for helping our children learn these important life skills in a clear and reassuring way.
