Year 1 had an exciting day at Conkers, packed with hands-on learning and outdoor adventures!
The children explored animal adaptations on a nature trail, discovering how different animals have special features that help find food. They then put their learning into practice by creating their own mud monsters, carefully designing creatures with features to help them catch prey. Needless to say, everyone got wonderfully messy!
The fun continued with a thrilling 4D film experience, where the children were surprised by special effects—including unexpected splashes of water! They also enjoyed taking part in a dinosaur dig, finding their way through a maze, and exploring the treetops on the tree-top walk.
As well as all the exciting learning activities, the children had time to enjoy some of Conkers’ fabulous playgrounds, where they could climb, explore and play with their friends.
