Year 5 Writing Workshop

The children enjoyed a fantastic day at Ormiston NEW Academy, taking part in an exciting writing workshop designed to inspire their imagination and creativity.

To kick off the session, they watched A Christmas Carol – complete with popcorn – which helped spark ideas. The pupils were fully engaged from start to finish, producing some wonderfully creative writing throughout the workshop.

As well as writing, the children explored their artistic side by trying folded book craft. They had great fun transforming old books into their very own Christmas trees and decorating festive baubles to take home.

To top off a brilliant day, they tucked into a delicious pizza lunch – a perfect ending to a great day!
