Our Reading Ambassadors shared their love of reading with some of our younger children this week. Visiting classes across the school, they read a festive Christmas story, bringing the magic of storytelling to life. It was wonderful to see the older pupils reading with confidence and enthusiasm, and the younger children listening so attentively. A lovely celebration of reading, community, and Christmas spirit!

We were delighted to welcome 13 students from Birmingham University as part of their ITAP (Initial Teacher Advancement Programme) placement. The focus of the day was on best practice in teaching phonics , and our staff were proud to showcase the high-quality provision taking place across school. Early Years have had SO much fun celebrating World Nursery Rhyme Week! We joined together as a Trust to sing our favourite nursery rhymes to each other via TEAMs — it was wonderful to see everyone joining in with such enthusiasm.
