Elston V Pheasey

Monday 16th June

Our football team were back in action today in a spirited fixture against our trust school, Pheasey Park Farm. It proved to be a challenging first half for Elston, with Pheasey showcasing their skill and taking an early lead.

But after the break, Elston came out with renewed energy and determination. The second half saw us dominate possession and create a number of fantastic chances. Despite our efforts and much-improved play, we were unable to convert enough of those chances, and the game ended in a loss.

That said, we couldn’t be prouder of our boys and girls. Many of our players were competing against older children, yet showed incredible talent, teamwork, and resilience. The future is certainly bright for Elston football – we’ve got some real stars in the making!
