Nursery Story Share Day – A Wonderful Celebration of Learning!

This week, both our morning and afternoon nursery classes welcomed parents and carers into the setting for our special Story Share Day. It was a fantastic opportunity for families to discover what their children have been learning since the beginning of their nursery journey.

The children proudly showed their grown-ups around the learning environment, sharing their favourite activities and the wonderful work they have been doing. It was heart-warming to see how confident and excited they were to talk about their experiences.

Parents also had the chance to get to know the adults working in nursery a little better. The staff shared their favourite nursery rhymes and activities, giving families a glimpse into the special ways they support and engage the children every day.

Together, children and adults joined in singing some of our much-loved nursery songs, including our cheerful "Hello Song" and the ever-popular "What’s the Weather?" song, a real highlight that had everyone smiling and singing along!

The day wouldn’t be complete without a story,  and each child got to enjoy a shared reading experience with their family. As a special treat, everyone took home a storybook to continue the love of reading at home.

It truly was a joyful and memorable day for all. Thank you to all the families who joined us, your involvement means so much and helps foster a lifelong love of learning and reading in our nursery children!
