Elston Hall children had a fantastic Science day!
We loved our theme this year of Science through stories, and it was amazing to see so many stories come to life through science investigations.
Across school we explored a range of stories including Handa's Surprise, Tadpole's Promise, The Fox in the Dark, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory and How the Meteorite got to the Museum.
We had children in Early Years creating delicious fruit smoothies and testing floating and sinking. Children in KS1 exploring how Shadows are formed and observing exploding candy.
Children in KS2 investigating the different melting rates of chocolate and testing the best surfaces to transport a meteorite.
It was wonderful to see how engaged pupils were and the enthusiasm they showed towards their science learning.
We have lots of fantastic scientists at Elston Hall!
