Year 3 Explore Skeletons!
Children in Year 3 have been learning all about the human skeleton and discovering how our bones help to support and protect our bodies. As part of their exploration, they used masking tape to identify and recreate the different bones that make up their ribcage. This hands-on activity encouraged the children to develop their understanding of the structure of the human body, while learning how our ribs protect important organs, such as our heart and lungs.
